South Korea and Poland Upgrade Ties to ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’
▷ President Lee Jae-myung (이재명) and Prime Minister Donald Tusk (도날트 투스크) agreed to upgrade bilateral relations to a “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” to ensure supply chain stability and security cooperation amid global crises.
▷ The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the stable implementation of defense contracts worth $44.2 billion, emphasizing further collaboration through technology transfer and local production in Poland.
▷ In addition to defense, they discussed expanding cooperation into high-tech and energy sectors while addressing economic issues such as residency permit delays for Korean companies and the potential import of Polish beef.
